usually at the beginning of winter in nyc I get inspired by riding the subway and imagining if people dressed more colorfully 🙂 Also appearing in this piece are tributes to Dondi White and Cyntoia Brown, who was granted clemency while I was working on this. This piece was made in the early months of 2019 using Watercolors,Gouache,inks,and graphite on paper, it is 11×14 inches.
